Simplify implementation and add a new access operators[](ItemId)

The new operator behaves exactly as the
SubItemValuePerItem::itemArray(ItemId) and
SubItemArrayPerItem::itemTable(ItemId) functions

This convenient change is mainly made in the goal of simplifying
item-to-item matrices used in connectivity
